About The Position
Tristar Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join its team in Maryville, Tennessee. The role serves a wide range of patients, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and people with acute or chronic conditions. The therapist creates and progresses treatment plans, provides direct one-to-one care, and is encouraged to continue working with patients they evaluate to support continuity of care. The typical workload includes roughly three to five evaluations per week, with time to complete notes on-site. The company offers ongoing professional development, including unlimited on-site CEUs and business and professional development mentorship programs.
Requirements
- Experience in patient evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans.
- Create and progress treatment plans, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
- Provide direct one-to-one patient care and patient education.
- Where possible, continue treating patients the therapist has evaluated to support continuity of care.
- Complete patient notes on-site.
