Occupational Therapist - Maryville, MO
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Maryville, Missouri, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered where patients live, including private residences and senior living settings such as independent living, assisted living, and memory care, through FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules. The role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized plans of care, and delivering evidence-based treatment that supports wellness, longevity, mobility, functional independence, and quality of life. Therapists document care in FOX’s EMR system, educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Clinicians can create and manage their treatment schedules and build ongoing relationships with patients. FOX describes itself as a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and abolishing ageism. Employment pathways listed include full-time, part-time, and PRN / FOX Flex positions. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
