Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current California PT license, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate mobility, strength, balance, gait, and rehabilitation needs.
- Establish measurable goals and individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions and monitor patient outcomes.
- Modify treatment plans as patients progress.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility and continued recovery.
- Coordinate care with rehabilitation and nursing colleagues.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and support discharge planning.
