About The Position

Alaska Hand Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist for its outpatient orthopedic clinic in Anchorage, Alaska. The position treats patients of all ages, with a focus on complex upper-extremity and hand therapy cases involving shoulder, arm, and hand conditions. Treatment sessions are one-on-one and 45 minutes long. Full-time therapists typically see approximately 39 to 40 patients per week, and therapists receive protected time for documentation and patient research. The clinic is a 100% employee-owned specialty practice focused on upper-extremity rehabilitation. It offers a purpose-built clinic with dedicated splinting areas, modern equipment, and time for documentation and collaboration. Full-time work is preferred, with 40 hours per week available; part-time candidates working 24 hours across three weekdays will also be considered. A relocation or retention bonus is available.

Requirements

Eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent standing.
Some prior hand therapy experience is required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of hand therapy experience is preferred.
Certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy to patients of all ages.
Treat complex upper-extremity and hand therapy cases, including shoulder, arm, and hand conditions.
