About The Position

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is a nationally recognized leader in comprehensive orthopedic services, with its Orthopedic Program at Rush University Medical Center ranked Top 10 in Orthopedics by U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 2003, MOR comprises internationally renowned orthopedic surgeons who pioneer the latest advances in technology and surgical techniques. MOR doctors are the official team physicians for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Fire Soccer Club, and DePaul University Athletics. We are looking for a part-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient facility team at the Naperville, IL facility. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of treatment programs in collaboration with physician orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy license
  • CPR Certified

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patient and gathers appropriate information to determine accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment plan.
  • Establishes appropriate, functional and objective goals based upon clinical examination.
  • Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients.
  • Provides exceptional patient care and service.
  • The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in positive and respectful working relationships.
  • Cultivate relationships with patients and the community.
  • Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure a consistent level of care.
  • Maintain patient charts, clinical logs and checklists necessary for compliance.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality with regard to medical records per company policies and procedures and assures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicates well in a professional setting.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
