About The Position
This is a Physical Therapist – Acute Care travel/contract opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital in Chewelah, WA (Providence Saint Joseph's Hospital Chewelah). The position is generally 0.6 FTE, Monday through Friday (with flexibility for Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday schedules). Workday hours vary based on hospital census. The primary need is working inpatient therapy at the Chewelah facility, but the traveler therapist may float to other facilities based on facility need and the therapist's ability, including facilities in Colville and Spokane.
Requirements
- PT License required (Washington State)
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- First-time travelers accepted
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient physical therapy services at the primary facility in Chewelah
- Float between units per unit needs
- Float to other facilities in Colville and Spokane based on facility need and therapist ability
- Manage patient ratios of 1:5–10
- Adapt workday schedule based on hospital census
