About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to serve as Rehab Director in Newberry. The role provides physical therapy services, including assessing patients, delivering treatments, educating patients and families, documenting care, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. The posting offers compensation of up to $50 per hour, based on experience, and a sign-on bonus. HealthPro Heritage provides clinical services across settings such as nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, schools, and clinics.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to improve functionality and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, posture, body mechanics, home routines, and lifestyle changes to support recovery and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
