Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital in Weatherford, TX is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to work as needed on Weekends in our dynamic and thriving healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care, and we want YOU to be a vital part of our team. This role is PRN and will work day shifts as needed; ideally we are looking for candidates with weekend availability.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Current state license as a Physical Therapist in good standing is required.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and establishes plan of care; also evaluates the efficacy of treatment, modifying if necessary. Conducts all therapy practice within defined standards of care.
Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans in accordance with Hospital requirements and established guidelines. Regularly updates documentation and maintains prescriptions and signature. Doing so in a timely manner
Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff.
Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress including preparing plan for discharge.
Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.
