About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. is seeking a State Board Licensed Physical Therapist for a PRN position at Woodland Memorial Hospital in Woodland, California. The role is in an acute hospital setting and offers periodic days, vacation coverage, and weekend work, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate the therapist’s existing schedule. The therapist will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on early mobilization, post-surgical patient education, and guidance on safe discharges. The Woodland Home Health/Acute team is an interdisciplinary group directed by an experienced Rehabilitation Coordinator. The position is available immediately. Compensation is listed as $65–$85 per hour, or equivalent salary depending on working hours, experience, and total compensation. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.
- California state license as a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait training, and functional training.
- Educate patients and families on appropriate care plans.
- Communicate with team members to support quality care.
- Focus on early mobilization, post-surgical patient education, and guidance on safe discharges.
