About The Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings. The role involves working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. The position requires working within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center, and seeking continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days Required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years Prior relevant experience Preferred
