About The Position

This is a 13-week contract opportunity for a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Anchorage, Alaska. The position is onsite and has an ASAP start. Schedules are either five 8-hour day shifts or four 10-hour day shifts, with two weekend shifts per month required. First-time travelers and pending licenses are accepted. Local candidates are not accepted; the candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available. The facility has 56 staffed beds: 10 in LTACH/ICU and 46 in inpatient rehabilitation. The role may require floating within the therapist’s scope to meet facility needs. Epic is used for charting, and facility charting and assignment requirements must be followed. On-call work is not required, block scheduling is not accommodated, and COVID-19 vaccination is not required. All time-off requests must be included at submission and are approved individually upon offer.

Requirements

At least one year of experience.
BLS certification.
Alaska PT license or compact PT license; pending licenses are accepted.
Permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
