About The Position
NiteLines USA, a contractor supporting government institutions and medical treatment facilities, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for the DeKalb County Board of Health. This role focuses on evaluating and treating children from birth to three years old to enhance their independent physical functioning. The therapist will work with adaptive equipment, participate in the Babies Can't Wait primary coaching service delivery model, and maintain program documentation. This position involves attending Individualized Family Service Plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in various settings, including families' homes, the office, or via WebEx.
Requirements
- Doctorate or professional degree in physical therapy
- Current or eligible for Georgia licensure in area of assignment
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years recent experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with special needs children age 0-3 years
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats children birth to three years old to maximize their independent physical functioning.
- Works with adaptive equipment to maintain or improve a client's positioning and/or functional abilities.
- Participates in the Babies Can't Wait primary coaching service delivery model.
- Maintains appropriate program documentation.
- Attend the initial individualized Family Service Plans.
- Be a part of the interdisciplinary team that meets in families' homes, in the office or via WebEx.
