Physical Therapist, Outpatient Orthopedic
About The Position
Burger Physical Therapy is seeking a State Board Licensed Physical Therapist to join its outpatient orthopedic clinic in Rancho Cordova in the greater Sacramento area. The clinic is Burger-owned, has state-of-the-art equipment, and is managed by a Clinic Coordinator. The role is open to new graduates and experienced physical therapists and involves working with an interdisciplinary team to provide clinical care. The position is offered full-time, Monday through Friday, with alternative schedules available, including four 10-hour days. The employer may also accommodate a flexible part-time schedule around existing commitments. The role includes assessing patients, planning treatment, delivering therapeutic interventions, guiding exercises and functional training, educating patients and families, and communicating with team members to support quality care. The stated salary range is $48–$65 per hour, or an equivalent salary depending on working hours, experience, and total compensation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.
- California State license as a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait training, and functional training.
- Educate patients and their families on proper care plans.
- Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is provided.
