About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Physical Therapist to join its new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken, South Carolina. The therapist will care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The position may suit someone with prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learning in that setting.

The Physical Therapist manages patients and directs and supervises care in an age-appropriate manner, consistent with the state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients and patient care.
• Deliver, direct, and supervise care in an age-appropriate manner in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
