Adena Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Casual Physical Therapist to support patient care needs at Adena Regional Medical Center, with a primary focus on consistent weekend coverage in the acute hospital setting. This casual position is ideal for a Physical Therapist who is looking for flexible hours while still maintaining a meaningful role in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment. The primary need is for Saturday full-day coverage, with Potential Sunday coverage based on patient volume and department needs. In addition to weekend acute care coverage, there may be opportunities to support weekday staffing needs in both acute care and outpatient therapy settings. Experience in outpatient adult and/or pediatric therapy is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

Physical Therapist license

Experience in outpatient adult and/or pediatric therapy

Responsibilities

Providing physical therapy evaluations and treatment in the acute care hospital setting
Supporting weekend therapy coverage, primarily Saturdays and volume-dependent Sundays
Assisting with discharge recommendations and communication with the care team
Promoting safe mobility, functional progression, and patient-centered rehabilitation
Documenting care in accordance with department, regulatory, and billing standards
Providing weekday support in acute care or outpatient therapy as needed and appropriate
Potentially covering outpatient adult and/or pediatric therapy needs based on demonstrated competence
