About The Position

This is a traveler assignment for a Physical Therapist to work in an inpatient setting, specifically in the CCU, AC, and Day Surgery units. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function. Additionally, the therapist will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact for Colorado
• At least two years of PT experience
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Flu Vaccination – (mandatory) – no declinations accepted - required Oct 1st through April 1

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of PT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan for a variety of diagnoses.
• Improve patients’ strength, ROM, balance, safety and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
