About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Salida, CO. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, focusing on examination, intervention, prevention, education, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pelvic Health and possess the necessary qualifications and licenses to practice in Colorado.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Pelvic Health required.
  • The Physical Therapist must have completed training in accordance with minimum essential for physical therapy schools as prescribed by Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of American Medical Association.
  • Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy.
  • Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
  • Active license for the state of Colorado.
  • Pelvic Health Certification Required.
  • Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Performing Duties within the Physical Therapist’s Scope of Practice
  • Examining Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Based on the results, determine the diagnosis, prognosis, and necessary intervention strategies.
  • Designing Therapeutic Interventions: Create and modify therapeutic plans to alleviate impairments and functional limitations, helping patients regain their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Preventing Health Issues: Focus on preventing injuries and disabilities by promoting overall health, fitness, and wellness across all age groups.
  • Consultation, Education, and Research: Engage in sharing knowledge with colleagues and the community, as well as contributing to the latest research in physical therapy practices.
  • Maintaining Patient Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment plans, progress reports, attendance, and discharge summaries. Ensure timely submission of charges for services rendered.
