About The Position
The Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients and develops treatment plans appropriate to each patient's condition. The therapist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans, and educates patients to support optimal outcomes. This is a PRN outpatient position serving patients of all age groups.
Requirements
- Current Florida Physical Therapy license.
- Knowledge of physical therapy theory, procedures, practices, and equipment.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards, necessary precautions, and remedial measures in patient treatment and care.
- Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
- Computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree with specific coursework in Physical Therapy preferred.
- Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
- BLS from the American Heart Association preferred.
- Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services preferred.
