About The Position

The Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Neurological Multidisciplinary Clinic staff work closely with the medical center’s medical staff to provide excellent and innovative care to patients requiring care due to post-operative and chronic conditions. This clinic is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work independently. As a full-time Physical Therapist in the Cedars-Sinai Neurological Clinic in Los Angeles, California, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies. Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes. Utilize validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. Monitor and modify the progress of patients assigned to assistants. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members.

Requirements

Must have a current California Physical Therapy License.
Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient neurological setting.
Must have experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience with specialized neurological rehabilitation techniques.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic setting.
Strong understanding of neuroplasticity and motor learning principles.
