About The Position

At Texas Physical Therapy Specialists (TexPTS), a member of the Confluent Health family, you’ll join a clinician-driven outpatient team where autonomy, mentorship, and professional growth are part of your everyday experience. With an average of fewer than 12 patients per day and a scheduling model designed to support quality care, you’ll have the time to provide quality treatment while building meaningful relationships with your patients. Our Westlake clinic offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly athletic community, located inside the Westlake Athletic Community Center. You’ll collaborate with local athletic trainers and treat an active patient population, with approximately 45% athletes, utilizing performance-focused equipment including squat racks, sleds, and force plates. Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice).
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
  • Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
