Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Master's degree required
- Active Arizona Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EMR documentation systems
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
- Experience treating orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-operative patients
- Manual therapy and functional rehabilitation experience
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional movement assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and evidence-based practice
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, balance training, and other skilled interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers on recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Promote wellness, injury prevention, and long-term functional improvement
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences through compassionate, patient-centered care
