About The Position

The Physical Therapist provides professional, patient-centered physical therapy services in support of Lake Roosevelt Community Health Centers’ mission to provide responsive, high-quality care in a non-discriminatory, confidential, compassionate, and professional environment. The position evaluates and treats patients with injuries, illnesses, or conditions that affect mobility and daily functioning; develops and implements treatment plans; provides therapeutic exercises and interventions; monitors patient progress; and promotes patient safety, comfort, and independence. The Physical Therapist works collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining professional competence, ethical conduct, supportive working relationships, and the highest standards of patient care and integrity. The position works independently within the scope of professional practice and prescribed orders.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Washington State Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, practices, techniques, and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish supportive, professional relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use electronic medical record systems.
  • Must demonstrate professional integrity, ethical behavior, dependability, and a commitment to quality patient care.
  • If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance.
