About The Position

Kona Medical Consulting and Springboard Therapy is currently looking for Physical Therapists in Whippany, New Jersey (and/or nearby areas). Springboard Pediatric Therapy believes therapy should be joyful, evidence-based, and full of connection. They are looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team alongside occupational and speech therapists. They support children with a wide range of conditions including developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism, hypotonia, and complex neurological needs like cerebral palsy and genetic conditions. Their programs include Traditional Pediatric PT focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment, and a Neuromotor & Intensive Program designed for children with complex neurological profiles using advanced tools like Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training. The facility offers an 11,000 sq. ft. space with 15 gyms, swings, vibration boards, gait trainers, and playrooms. They emphasize true collaboration, innovative tools and training, and growth and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist.
  • Experience or passion for working with children ages 0-21.
  • Creative, curious, and team-oriented.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, or genetic conditions.
  • Familiarity with Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric physical therapy services focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment.
