About The Position

Kona Medical Consulting and Springboard Therapy is looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join their team in Whippany, New Jersey. Springboard Pediatric Therapy focuses on helping children with various developmental and neurological needs, including developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, and genetic conditions. They offer traditional pediatric PT services focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment, as well as a Neuromotor & Intensive Program utilizing advanced tools like Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training. The clinic boasts a large facility with multiple gyms, swings, vibration boards, gait trainers, and playrooms. The role emphasizes collaboration with occupational and speech therapists, use of innovative tools, and opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Requirements

• Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist.
• Experience or strong interest in working with children ages 0-21.
• Creative, curious, and team-oriented.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI).
• Experience with NMES, FES, or whole body vibration therapy.
• Experience with gait training.

Responsibilities

• Provide traditional Pediatric PT services focused on motor development, strength, and coordination in a play-based environment.
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques in the Neuromotor & Intensive Program, such as Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), whole body vibration therapy, NMES, FES, and gait training.
• Collaborate with occupational and speech therapists for co-treatment and idea sharing.
• Support children with a wide range of conditions including DCD, autism, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, and genetic conditions.
• Contribute to a joyful, evidence-based, and connected therapy environment.
