About The Position

Amedisys is hiring a Physical Therapist to provide home health physical therapy services. The role helps patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function. The therapist provides interventions, conducts reexaminations at least every 30 days, modifies interventions as needed, and performs discharge planning. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $10,000 bonus is advertised. Annual pay is listed as $140,000 to $160,000, with compensation potentially varying by geographic market, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state where assigned to work.
• Graduate of a physical therapy educational program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year of related physical therapy experience for physical therapists entering home health care.
• Current CPR certification.
• If experience is less than one year, approval from regional clinical leaders is required, along with appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
