The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating and assessing the needs of referred patients, developing treatment plans for a home care environment, and providing therapy services in collaboration with physicians and case managers. This role involves a variety of tasks and encourages creativity and initiative. The coverage area includes San Antonio and surrounding counties (Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, DeWitt, Frio, Gillespie, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Victoria, Wilson).
Requirements
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate, Master's or Doctorate program in Physical Therapy program accredited by a Physical Therapy accreditation
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist within the state of employment
- Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization
- Possess and maintain valid CPR
- Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Access to reliable transportation
