About The Position
Powerback is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to partner with Eagleville Hospital. Eagleville Hospital is a specialty health care facility dedicated to supporting the recovery of individuals challenged by substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. This role is part of an expansive recovery services program, aiming to improve lives through Physical and Occupational Therapy. Powerback offers an empowered approach to rehabilitation, focusing on integrated and individualized solutions to help patients achieve their full potential and transform their road to recovery.
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; OR
- Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; OR
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs.
- Develop patient recovery plans.
- Deliver physical therapy.
- Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity.
