About The Position

NHC Kingsport is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is available as we transition a valued member of our team from full-time to PRN status to accommodate her family needs. We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented PT who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and enjoys working collaboratively with patients, families, nursing, therapy colleagues, and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Tennessee PT license or eligibility for Tennessee licensure.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• A positive, dependable, and professional approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in accordance with their individualized plans of care.
• Complete evaluations, treatments, progress assessments, and discharge planning.
• Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to maximize functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote quality patient care.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, clinical excellence, and positive patient outcomes.
