About The Position

This position is for a Physical Therapist in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The shift is 5x8s, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Weekend and possibly holiday work is required. Travelers may need to float within scope to meet facility needs or float between like units/sister facilities. The facility is a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit with a total of 120 staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic. Free parking is available. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November, with peak activity in August and September), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. This is a consideration for new or extended assignments during this period.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• Must possess a South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License at the start of the contract.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Work a 5x8s schedule, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
• Work weekends as required.
• Potentially work holidays.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs or float between like units/sister facilities as needed.
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if assigned.
