About The Position

Accountable for supporting all aspects of the research and clinical services provided by the Biomechanics lab. Responsibilities include instrumentation evaluation, protocol development, patient and normal subject assessment, data collection, data analysis, and development of institutional systems and procedures. Also responsible for supporting project planning and coordination, grant development, and manuscript preparation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
  • Hold current license (or able to obtain license) to practice physical therapy in the State of Minnesota
  • Advanced post-professional degree training
  • 5 years experience required
  • Highly self-motivated individual with an aptitude for research and comfort with high technology
  • Computer literate
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated writing and presentation skills
  • Interest and skills in mentoring and teaching
  • Team building and leading
  • Evidence of success in working in an interdisciplinary setting

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a research setting
  • Prior experience in a gait lab
  • Prior clinical practice with neuromuscular and pediatric patients
