About The Position

The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric outpatient team. This role focuses on clinic-based pediatric physical therapy, supporting children’s gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence. PTAs work under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans in a supportive, collaborative environment. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Active Maryland PT or PTA license
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric therapy experience preferred (new grads encouraged)

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric physical therapy treatments in an outpatient clinic setting
• Implement treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist
• Address gross motor skills, motor planning, balance, strength, and coordination
• Monitor patient progress and communicate outcomes with the therapy team
• Educate families on home exercise programs and developmental strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Ensure patient safety and deliver care using best practices
