About The Position

Mobility Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join their team. This full-time role focuses on treating pelvic health as part of the whole person, integrating it with core, hips, spine, movement, strength, pressure management, and lifestyle factors. The ideal candidate will work with active and motivated individuals, including athletes, weekend warriors, and postpartum patients, helping them understand their bodies and return to life with confidence. The position offers a structured schedule with protected documentation time, a performance-minded patient population, and the opportunity to practice within a chosen pelvic health specialty (women's health, men's health, or both). The team values clinical excellence, hands-on care, thoughtful exercise prescription, movement assessment, autonomy, and collaboration, aiming to elevate the field of pelvic health.

Requirements

  • Active Ohio Physical Therapist license
  • Passion for pelvic health, whole-person care, and movement-based rehabilitation
  • Comfort performing internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment, or the desire to further develop this skill set
  • Interest in treating female patients, male patients, or both
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust with patients navigating sensitive and often life-changing concerns
  • Interest in collaborating with orthopedic, sports, and performance-minded clinicians
  • A growth mindset and desire to help build something meaningful

Nice To Haves

  • Pelvic health training, certification, or meaningful pelvic health experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic health and related orthopedic conditions, including pregnancy and postpartum concerns, urinary urgency, frequency, leakage, and bladder dysfunction.
  • Address pelvic pain, hip pain, low back pain, SI joint pain, tailbone pain, abdominal pain, rectal pain, or perineal pain.
  • Manage conditions such as diastasis recti, core weakness, pressure management, and return to exercise.
  • Treat pain with intercourse and other sexual dysfunction concerns.
  • Provide care for prolapse and post-surgical pelvic health needs.
  • Address constipation and bowel-related pelvic floor dysfunction.
  • Work with patients who have not fully improved through traditional orthopedic care.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to create individualized plans of care that may include internal and external pelvic floor assessment and treatment, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, patient education, movement retraining, and return-to-activity planning.
