About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient to join a respected healthcare organization in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. In this role, you will work directly with patients to improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and help individuals return to the activities that matter most to them through personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $92,000 – $98,000 annually and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout their recovery. You'll evaluate individual needs, develop customized treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality outpatient rehabilitation focused on lasting functional outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in North Carolina
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong patient evaluation, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to provide individualized, patient-centered rehabilitation while managing an outpatient caseload effectively

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy or rehabilitation setting
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, functional rehabilitation, and evidence-based treatment techniques
• Experience educating patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term mobility strategies
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
