We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Floyd, Virginia. Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and quality of life.
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, caregivers, and referral sources to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation while supporting an exceptional patient experience.
  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercise, functional training, balance activities, manual techniques, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
  • Complete timely documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience.
