About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist- Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Morristown, VT. This role provides direct patient care in the evaluation and treatment of outpatients at various sites supported by Copley therapy services, including satellite outpatient locations. The role may also involve direct patient care for inpatients in the ER, acute care, and those transitioning home from PACU. Participation in weekend and holiday inpatient rotations may be required. Pelvic Floor experience is a significant plus but not mandatory.

Requirements

1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred
Must have BLS/BCLS Certification
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote healing.
Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
Educate patients and their families about the goals and benefits of physical therapy, as well as the importance of at-home exercises and self-care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely for record-keeping and insurance purposes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
