About The Position

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is a health system dedicated exclusively to medical rehabilitation. We provide inpatient and outpatient care for people at every point in their journey from illness or injury to the most advanced state of recovery they can achieve. The Physical Therapist utilizes a comprehensive evaluation based on accepted professional standards to assess patient needs and functional status; devises and implement appropriate treatment plans to promote the highest level of patient self-sufficiency; regularly re-assesses plan efficacy; provides appropriate education to patients and families and progress patients toward goals and outcomes that reflect improved independence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or eligibility, in Physical Therapy required
• Current CT Physical Therapy license or eligibility required

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or higher preferred
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred
