About The Position
Your future role at a glance Location: Wichita, KS Facility: Ascension Via Christi, Rehabilitation Hospital Specialty: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Schedule: Day shift l PRN | Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. with rotating weekends and holidays #NextGenHealthcare Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Physical Therapy (PT) license credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create individualized treatment plans that empower patients and their families to achieve their specific recovery goals.
- Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to ensure every clinical intervention is tailored to their unique needs.
- Perform evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.
- Lead and mentor support personnel, including assistants and students, to maintain a high standard of collaborative care across the rehab team.
