About The Position

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Per-Diem Inpatient Physical Therapist to join their skilled team in Marlton, NJ. This position is not benefits eligible. The Physical Therapist (PT) is an integral member of the rehab team, responsible for administering appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21. The PT must adhere to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association. The PT uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem-solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide patient-centered care. The PT participates in patient and family teaching and collaborates with other disciplines. The PT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of skill development, strength and movement, play-based activities, and social-emotional development.

Requirements

BS in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
NJ licensure for physical therapy
CPR certification
Minimum of 2 years previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred)
Strong organizational / time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well as a team member
Weekend availability required

MA/MS/MPT/DPT preferred

Responsibilities
