Summary: Goldbelt is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to support a Human Performance Program for a U.S. Air National Guard Special Tactics unit. The Physical Therapist will provide injury evaluation, rehabilitation, return-to-duty planning, and performance optimization services for tactical athletes in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

  • Musculoskeletal injury evaluation and diagnosis
  • Orthopedic rehabilitation and return-to-duty planning
  • Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription
  • Functional movement assessment
  • Clinical documentation and electronic medical records
  • Patient education and injury prevention
  • Collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Time management and independent decision-making
  • Sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation principles
  • Human anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology
  • Evidence-based physical therapy practices
  • Performance optimization and injury prevention
  • Return-to-duty protocols
  • Healthcare documentation standards
  • HIPAA and patient confidentiality
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted Physical Therapist license.
  • Minimum 3 years of orthopedic or sports medicine experience.
  • Experience treating active adult populations.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required in support of the contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Military, tactical, or high-performance athlete populations
  • Experience supporting military, tactical, or Special Operations personnel.
  • Dry Needling certification.
  • Sports residency or board certification (SCS).
  • Experience with return-to-duty programs.
  • Familiarity with Human Performance Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct musculoskeletal evaluations and injury assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Provide injury prevention education and movement assessments.
  • Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Athletic Trainers, and Psychologists to optimize operator readiness.
  • Develop return-to-duty recommendations and rehabilitation plans.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and performance records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.
  • Support program reporting and quality assurance activities.
