About The Position

Glacier Federal, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide injury-management, rehabilitation, prehabilitation, and human-performance services for military personnel. This role works within an integrated performance team to reduce injury risk, restore function, shorten lost-duty time, and support safe return to full mission capability. The integrated program supports the readiness, durability, recovery, and long-term well-being of military personnel performing demanding operational missions.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, or an equivalent professional physical therapy degree, from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted Oregon Physical Therapist license or an Oregon Physical Therapy Compact privilege before the start of performance.
  • Current Basic Life Support and CPR/AED certification from a nationally recognized provider.
  • Demonstrated competence in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, injury rehabilitation, movement assessment, and return-to-activity decision support.
  • Ability to maintain complete, accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with high-performing adults in a multidisciplinary, operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) or Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) through ABPTS.
  • Experience supporting military, special operations, tactical, collegiate, professional, or athletic populations.
  • Experience with injury surveillance, performance testing, load management, and interdisciplinary return-to-duty planning.
  • Prior Federal healthcare, DoD, military human-performance, or tactical experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document initial and follow-up physical performance assessments and provide timely, individualized feedback.
  • Evaluate neuromusculoskeletal conditions and develop evidence-based rehabilitation, prehabilitation, mobility, and return-to-duty plans within the authorized scope of practice.
  • Deliver individualized care and monitor progress using objective outcome measures relevant to tactical athletes and mission demands.
  • Coordinate with Government medical staff and other human-performance professionals to align care plans, training modifications, and duty recommendations.
  • Develop, maintain, and annually update standard rehabilitation and prehabilitation protocols used by the program.
  • Identify conditions requiring care outside the program, make appropriate referrals, and support maintenance of the medical-referral log.
  • Support development of remote rehabilitation or training plans when requested and clinically appropriate.
  • Assist with safe use, inspection, cleanliness, and routine care of rehabilitation and recovery equipment.
  • Collaborate with the integrated human performance team and participate in required care-coordination and program meetings.
  • Document encounters, referrals, outcomes, and Government-defined metrics accurately and within required timelines.
  • Contribute discipline-specific findings and recommendations to program reports, assessments, planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Protect sensitive information, maintain professional boundaries, and comply with all scope-of-practice, privacy, safety, installation, and security requirements.
