About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Physical Therapist II to join their rehab team. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delegating therapy services. The Physical Therapist II will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues, and will engage in professional development and interdisciplinary team collaboration. The position is located at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL, within the Outpatient Rehab department.

Requirements

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice (Required).
  • 2+ Years of Experience
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification (e.g., CHT, OCS, etc.) which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and executes on treatment plan as outlined by plan of care.
  • Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services.
  • Serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement.
  • Performs other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.
