About The Position

This temporary full-time position, located at Glenmore Park, Physiotherapy Subacute 1E BW, is for a Physical Therapist I. The role involves providing client care through focused assessment, treatment, and discharge planning on rehabilitation and recovery units, as well as contributing to residents' quality of life by assessing appropriate interventions for safe, functional independence on continuing care units. The position may also include clinical supervision for support staff and students, along with other related duties. The program associated with this role is the Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program (ERCTP), a short-stay restorative care program for medically stable adults requiring additional assessment, recuperation, and therapy before returning to the community. Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy
  • Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required

Nice To Haves

  • AADL authorizer is an asset
  • Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset
