About The Position
Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team in the inpatient unit at Chilton Medical Center. This position will have varying shifts, from 7:30a to 3:30p and two weekend days per month in addition to weekday coverage, as needed. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members
- Communicate with patients and families to ensure understanding and continuity of care
- Support various appointment types and adapt care plans as needed
- Patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately.
- Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.
