About The Position

This outpatient physical therapy office is seeking a Physical Therapist Director to help lead clinical care, staff support, and daily clinic operations in Clear Brook, VA. This is not a role where leadership is completely removed from patient care. You will still evaluate, treat, and follow patient progress while also helping the team stay organized and supported. The ideal candidate is a Physical Therapist who understands how important clear communication, reliable documentation, and thoughtful care planning are in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create care plans that support functional goals
• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatment
• Guide staff on care planning, documentation, and treatment updates
• Review patient progress and assist with discharge planning
• Support daily clinic workflow and patient coordination
• Maintain compliance with documentation and payer standards
