About The Position

We are hiring a Physical Therapist Director for an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Winchester, VA. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who wants to take on a larger leadership role while continuing to make a direct impact through patient care. In this position, you will help lead the clinic’s daily clinical services, support the therapy team, and ensure patients receive clear, goal-based treatment. Your work will help patients improve mobility, regain strength, manage pain, and return to daily routines with better function and confidence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Ability to lead with clear communication and sound judgment

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Oversee daily clinical services and patient care flow
• Support therapists and staff with treatment planning and clinical questions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed
• Review documentation for accuracy, completion, and compliance
• Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and patient-focused clinic setting
