About The Position

An outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is looking for a Physical Therapist Director to lead clinical care and help create a positive, well-run clinic experience for both patients and staff. You will help patients improve mobility, manage pain, regain strength, and return to the activities that matter to them.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Clear communication skills and a steady leadership style

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Lead daily clinical operations and help keep the clinic organized
• Guide therapists and support staff with treatment planning and documentation
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans when needed
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
• Support a professional and welcoming clinic environment
