This is a full-time Physical Therapist Clinical Resident position within the Outpatient Rehabilitation department. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing care plans, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families. The resident will also supervise support staff and students. The position requires a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and a license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment. No prior experience is required. The role involves operating specialized equipment and requires knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, occasional climbing, kneeling, twisting, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Lateral patient transfers of 100 pounds are required rarely. Personal Protective Equipment may be necessary. The work environment is fast-paced and primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work.
