About The Position

As a Pediatric Physical Therapy Resident at Ivy Rehab for Kids, you will be a full-time teammate completing the Ivy Rehab Pediatric Residency Program. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of pediatric patients, with a treatment approach emphasizing personalized care and individualized plans. Ivy Rehab for Kids provides world-class care in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services, fostering a culture of authenticity, inclusion, growth, community, and a passion for exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • Active PT licensure in the current state of practice, prior to the Residency start date.
  • Employed as a Full-time Therapist for at least 3 months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date.
  • Required membership in associated professional organization by the start of the residency.
  • Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all required didactic modules (300+ hours).
  • Complete all assessments, logs, and forms.
  • Pass all required quizzes.
  • Satisfactorily complete required presentations.
  • Complete optional case report abstract.
  • Complete Residency Special Project.
  • Complete 100 mentor hours.
  • Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during the residency year.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled residency education events.
  • Satisfactorily achieve all resident core competencies.
  • Commit to taking the ABPTS Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) exam at earliest eligibility.
  • Commit to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post-graduation from the program.
