About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in Emporia, Virginia, covering Greensville, Brunswick, Mecklenburg, and Sussex counties. This full-time role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, with flexible scheduling, independent work, and support from a team. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients and families in a growing company.

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist and follows each patient’s Plan of Treatment. The role includes coordinating with the Physical Therapist on patient progress and concerns, communicating patient needs, supporting access to adaptive equipment, and maintaining treatment and billing documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides compassionate care and support to patients, families, and caregivers in the home. The listed pay range is $40.00–$45.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold a current, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where practicing.
• Hold current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly confer with the Physical Therapist regarding the patient’s treatment plan, progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assist in securing special adaptive equipment to improve patient function and incorporate adaptive equipment into the rehabilitation program.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the formats and timelines required by the company, facility, funding source, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
