About The Position
Yoakum Community Hospital is seeking a motivated, full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their patient care team. Working closely with a Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide hands-on treatments, therapeutic massages, and targeted exercises to help patients of all ages restore mobility and improve their overall well-being. The role also involves guiding and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery plans. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others, and a solid understanding of age-specific developmental needs. Requirements
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university
- Valid and current Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong desire to help others and make a positive impact
- Knowledge of growth and development across different age groups
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
